I love my Casio Privia, the only thing I dislike about it is the clunky noice it makes when you play forte.

I was curious about the "AMEB approval", and decided to contact them.

All digital pianos that meet the following criteria are "approved" by the AMEB: 1. They must have 88 keys, 2. They must have fixed and functioning pedals, and 3. They must have weighted action. (it doesn't even have to be graded).

Also, the AMEB only approves of digital pianos for Level 1 exams (Preliminary to Fourth Grade) - not ALL exams.

They do NOT approve, or recommend, any specific brands or models.

Very nice range of digital pianos. I'm going to buy Casio Celviano AP-620. But I was surprised when I tested Privia PX-830.
