@RedBullBrothers After word war two, the soviets wanted to replace the SVD with a new semi auto rifle. Some how, they ended up instead pioneering one of the first semi auto sniper rifles(after the G43). This is the Dragunov, although less recognizable without its scope.

Is anyone else having problems cocking this thing? I mean im not a weak little kid, but the bolt is very stiff and hard to pull back. Other than that though, its a pretty good rifle.

@Poeb123 I had a SVD my friend and the cocking is not easy at all my advice would be to downgrade, use both hands OR convert it to CO2  it is possible to do this I have seen it if u convert it to gas u'll get a much more powerfull rifle and with less trouble on the cocking

my svds outer barrel, is bowed to the left a bit, does that affect the guns accuracy in any way? also, weve been having this problem where its been shooting two bebes at once, and we cant figure out why. would you have any idea how i should diagnose and fix this problem?

@xxpatdxxryroxx it depends, if it has effected your whole barrel, or just the top of it.

if it effects it all, it might hit the bb reciver ( below chamber)

Its the thing where you put your bbs into, so it can fire...

anyway, if it effects that. it might be a dodgey make, and probably a bigger than regular barrel. i'd probably think it loads 2x BB in chamber, for some weird reason.

if it is troubling you, and its not your fault, contact the company/seller's, and get a refund.

@H1tmarkEr thank you, although, after about 3 or so hours of tinkering with it, and yelling at it, we finally fixed the problem, it was the hop-up. it wasn't adjusted correctly, and as for the bow in the barrel, It doesnt seem to affect the Fps or anything, so im just leaving it, and hoping it wont kill my baby.

I'm so tired of hearing people say WTF is up with those sights? There AK47 sights DUH. How un-legit is this gun? If you now anything about russian gun history you would know that the SVD was actually a rifle issued to russian infantry squads to increase their effective firing range to 150 yards. If you dont know what i just said then imagine how the M14 was replaced with the M14 EBR because it was time for an upgrade. Savvy? But any ways this was just a standard issue long-range rifle.

But you will have terrible accuracy, so stick with .2s or .25s

My SVD Dragunov has spring Guarder 170sp, barrel Madbull 6.02, new piston, new steel handhold and sealing rubber gorget in piston, for smaller noisiness. Total force 185-190m/s, 590-600FPS ;) :D Gun-range 120-125 yard. Best from sniper guns. My darling ;) :)

@babydragon1236 Well I've actually been looking for a while now, there is a $20 that has a side rail and top rail, and then you can put whatever you want on them. It is at Airsoft Atlanta, (can't send you links, I get an error) and is $20. Also, there is a PSO-1 scope that is for the SVD and has scope mount, looks nice but you can't really customize it like the UTG: Illuminated 4x24 PSO-1 Type Scope for Dragonov SVD Sniper Rifle Series. It is $120.

the RIS scope mount is made for an AK, which has a wider reciever. If you use it to mount a standard scope on here its gonna mount your scope too far right over the center line of the rifle and be nearly impossible to correctly adjust.

This gun is a piece of shit. When ever I cock the bolt back and shoot, nothing comes out and then only when I tilt it forward a BB falls out of the chamber. Like WTF? I took the whole gun apart, reassembled checked EVERYTHING for any broken or missing parts... and yet still I have this issue. It hasn't shot anything for over a month now. And know one knows what's wrong with it or how to fix it...
