I lived in lipa city and we have 8 building for broilers a capacity of 50,000 hds i am just wondering how much it will cost me to install a ventilation system, we used to do business with smc for 2 yrs but we decided to do it our own. because the contract that was made is not profitable. at least now we have more controll what to do and profit more. i also have another farm in lipa that i can put 7000 hds of chiken for trial. thank you if some one will help me about ventilation.

Hi there! I'm interested in becoming a contract grower.. But I'm just wondering, do you provide any assistance when it comes to waste disposal? I've heard that chicken manure can be sold and used as fertilizers. However, does the company provide its growers with means to contact possible buyers for these? Also, does the building structure suggested for the coop provide for easy retrieval of waste?

The minimum lot area required is atleast 1 hectare. this can accomodate 2-3 bldgs depending on the cut of the land.

Its really a matter of perspective. What we want to offer our fellow kababayans is a business opportunity in raising chicken with San Miguel Foods Inc. as their integrator. This is basically a business partnership between the company and the grower. The integrator takes care of the input like chick, feeds, technical assistance etc. The grower provides the poultry house, equipments and manpower.
