  • I should have said wondering up the steps to the tracks I like fogs too much! Something very magical about it gets me wandering into a wonderful space. If it weren't for the birds flitting around I wouldn't be real! and probably get hit by a train!! Thank the trains n the grain they haul n the birds they attract n the beautiful music you made Next batch of paintings is based on the Aurora borealis well that says it all lol! Better keep me on a leash, next time we go for a walk...
  • I love this,

like some old rather shaky cat wandering down memories lane

Got distracted by the birds, you know how it is!

Should have posted this in my faves since day one,

    Well now, I stand corrected!!

minus a few birds here and there lol! Love, m ; )))

  • @streetspiritlive Hello m!

lol! yep a real cat wandering

    disturb but by the birds;-)

    Glad you're having it in

    your favs! Goes well

    with my foggy one.

    Merci again!

  • We are on the same wavelength ...

  • @TVBarlinek

    Staying centered

    within and without...

Well the more we can lol!

    Merci camarade;-)

  • large estimates - Masters>>>

  • @TVBarlinek ;-)

  • Thanks for posting this video. I particularly loved the shots taken around Bridge Street. I grew up there, in Victoriatown. Drapeau demolished Victoriatown in 1964, displacing 300 families Just after the war, the people erected a monument with the names of 16 people from there who died in the war. It was located on the former Canada Packers property, on the NE corner, just inside the fence. That was the only thing left to show that Victoriatown ever existed, and the city got rid of even that.

  • Hi goosevillage;-)

Love the info you are sharing about Victoriatown. Strange I went closer to Victoria Bridge two days ago, for some more camera shots around. I think there's a big Monument (enormous rock) on between the two ways lanes of Bridge street.. (will go check outside of rush hour, I move by walking or bicycle) . But indeed we cannot see that there was people living there before. Very sad.

Hey merci, thank you very much!

  • Ah!!! xxx

    Your response to Phillipe

    Beautiful Poetry Too!!

As if This Music wasn't Enough...! : )))

  • Hey My Chère M;-) Guess Cats and moving Trains make's the words easier to express what is...;-) Meow! Merci!

  • Beautiful !!!!

I would say most worthy to be a NFB video for all to see.

Reminds me when I used to walk the tracks because it was a short cut to school.

  • Thank you very much Bill;-)

It was a very special impro with my bro..

Trains..They are so dangerous and yet so magical..And so loud and yet can be inspiring music to our ears;-)

And the railroads, all leading to dreams..

  • Yes, this is a great video and music. It also brings back memories of my childhood here in Cleveland OH. These kind of places were our play ground. Had loads of fun exploring.

  • Bonjour John! Yea they are great place for exploring..Dangerous..But so interesting!

I'm glad I've brought back some cool memories my friend!

    Have a great Thank's Giving;-)

  • great video and music combo...brought back some old memories of earlier times when we used to hang around the old train yards in NDG below the St Jacques Falaise ..the old Turcotte Yards....had some good times down there...

Hi Bou...in Texas now net is working too back on the grid...merci mon ami .....ciao peter

  • Yo Peter! On the road again lol!

Yep, though this trains yards can be dangerous places, they are very amazing human creations..And very trippy;-)

  • even separate from the scene the music has its own directional reach

  • Hi dade7sreel, I dig your observation my dear friend, trying to let the mind free... Merci thank you;-)

  • Not weird!

    It's in us...

It's in the lines and places...

in the same part of the world...

my grandpa on my mother's side worked in Thunder Bay

where all the grain comes in on ships

to be put on the trains

    coming here and going there!!

Have a great day too dear ; )

  • Fascinating sound, feels a lot like the trains...

I have a thing for doing walkabouts in places like this, like some ole cat hunting for a grain/train well fed bird or two... ; ) my grandpa worked for the CPR all his life, so trains are just a part of me...interesting little known fact, but the CPR did something very unusual in that they hired natives like him at a time when natives couldn't get a job in the white man's world if their life depended on it!

    Love this, thank you!!

    *****

  • Hi M;-) Well that's is weird, my grampa on my mother side worked for the CPR all is life in Québec city. Though we where the rejects of the family, it wasn't coming from him. (My gramma was a snob) But Yea in these time the train really brought out the humanity of some people. Helping one another to survive in this still relative and confused pionner time of the early twenty century. Really dig your comment dear, HAVE A GREAT DAY;-)!

  • Very cool. I used to enjoy taking the train, but then cancelled the service from Yarmouth to Halifax. We had to take the bus after that. :(

    Just not the same.

  • Hi James, Merci;-)

Though I've learn to appreciate some bus routes (as Montreal/Lac-st-Jean) the train as these magical vibes. Guess we feel as kid again when we ride it lol!

    Ciao;-)

  • Bonsoir Marie;-) ...Your comment is sweet to my ears my dear friend, merci thank you so much! ...The Jam with my bro kind of called the editing, and it was a fine adventure shooting it also;-)

  • Oh... beautifully made, very dreamy. Very good music with your bro, adds a lot. Leave one thinking....

Is this the cat you adopted once?

  • Hello Menchu;-) ..Well thank you my beautiful creative friend!

All the Cats from the earlier video where adopted... Me and my Bro are the only Cats left lol! ..These Cats where wandering there, and in the bushes to hide.. alot of birds there eating the grains fallen from the wagons passing by.

  • Oh, i see. many birds and two big cats LOL

  • This is a great mood provoking piece, Boucrate and Bro. The black and white visuals and editing is very stunning and effective. -Ron

  • Hi Ron;-)

...That old impro of my bro and I, kind of always mystified me, so I guess I found a way by this video to exorcise myself from it a bit lol! The shooting and editing of it was also a lot of work!

  • hello this is so ambient, in other word , your great soundscape. remind me of german kraut electric sound in early years. muted guitar sound is like train starting to going.

and this vid goes well with this super sound!!

  • Salut oio;-)

I was certain that you would like this more expirimental musical impro my friend.

Me and my bro had some good electronica Jammin going then.
