ill admit, i baww'ed a little when maxim just kinda almost gives up before iris appears, when hes all like "i love you selan, ill never leave you.." just to think having his love lifeless in his arms...i couldnt do it, it'd make me feel so damn helpless, ugh.

But what I actually never understood is the ending. So, they both died? I guess i was just to young to understand it when i first played it through. I was like 8 or 9

@sporister They did die, which makes it all the more powerful an ending since bittersweet endings in RPGs are still rare to this day.

Seriously, Lufia 2 was the best RPG for the SNES. Now that they have a remake in the making, I can't wait. Lufia has been gone for a long time, yet I still play Lufia 2 almost every day. This music really sets the tone for the ending. Well done

agreed actraiser, this along with lunia, shining force series, (i know those arnt snes games) secret of mana, secret of evermore , first actraiser game, illusion of gaia. man gamers today missed out so much from old consoles, but i hate it when companies rehash old classics we played in order to make a quick buck instead of taking a walk down that make it or break line of creating games. sadly that day is past and never returning.

@piscespeter3 Dude... Shining Force 2 with Bowie was the most epic game for the sega! im still playing it these days :) Its pretty challenging ^^
