@Viper3048 After you add up all the good options on a ZR-1 it comes out about 30K more than the GTR. (so cal dealerships) I shopped for both-ended up with a GTR.

these new 2012 gtr's remind me of the c6 z06 stomping on the old cobra terminator's from 2006 and taking the reign as champ. looks like another finally overtook the c6 vette generations. zr1's are quick as well but without perfection your just not going to take these gtr's, not even close.

@ZeRoX346 Thats only cause of LC and AWD.. and would probably only be a low 4 second car without those. This isn't even a stock GTR.. neither is the Z06 but the GTR is going to make a helluva lot more power with those mods. You people who think you know about cars need to shut up.. 0-60 is the most abused, and one of the least important statistics about cars. The point is (stock) GTR (as much of a technological marvel that it is), its only as fast in a roll against a older, less powerful Z06.

Oh well, I am a hater, I hate the people who tout the GTR cause of the media when they don't know jack and shit about cars. Hell I even heard someone at my school say the GTR will "slay" a ZR1.

@kageryu311 What I'm saying to ZeRoX346 is that at a roll, the GTR isn't any faster than the Z06, where the advantages of AWD and launch control don't do anything.. hes convinced it wins, I mean c'mon, you're a vette guy, you know that the average street race is not a stoplight fiasco, but usually a ~40 mph roll or something... so stock for stock, the Vette should just about be head to head with a 2012+ GTR
