I replied to this but you tube seems to not be posting it. The bradley effect is simple. Its the effect that people being polled do not mention that they are NOT going to vote for a black or non white candidate when asked. Hence messing up polls numbers. It stems from the 1982 California governor elections where Tom Bradley was ahead in the polls and yet lost the election. Hopefully my better more thought out explanation will post on the discussion board.

Obama did not come out of nowhere (did you honestly know who SP was before this?) He has worked in the public service throughout his career. As a lawyer, he worked for a firm specializing in civil rights and economic development of poor neighborhoods, after which he went on to the Senate.

Noone is making money on welfare. Welfare makes up a miniscule portion of our budget. We give far more welfare to corporations than to people.

I replied to this but you tube seems to not be posting it. The bradley effect is simple. Its the effect that people being polled do not mention that they are NOT going to vote for a black or non white candidate when asked. Hence messing up polls numbers. It stems from the 1982 California governor elections where Tom Bradley was ahead in the polls and yet lost the election. Hopefully my better more thought out explanation will post on the discussion board.

Senator mccain used to be a fairly decent guy. He is desperate during this campaign, just turning into a grizzled old man. The educational system now ranked one of the lowest for a major western power needs overhauling. Agreed. I've known about Obama since late 2003. I first heard about him as someone being groomed by the Democratic party. His ascent has been very public and really not that recent. I think its just a talking point. NOBODY , I REPEAT nobody knew who Sarah Palin was outside of Alaska. I really actually dont understand the constituency of the GOP lying as much as they do. It kind of reminds me of the NAZI's. Who really just started as a workers movement and a nationalist COUNTRY first movement.

And that was in public. I was told after the 2nd debate, by a white co-worker in fact, that McCain is losing so desparately that he needs to bring up race and any other thing he can. Right on cue, the very next day was the Arab comment in Wisconsin. What a shame.

I think Abe did some good things while in there. I think you are missing the boat and the single most important leader to come out of the black and white community in many years. Obama did not come out of nowhere (did you honestly know who SP was before this?) He has worked in the public service throughout his career. As a lawyer, he worked for a firm specializing in civil rights and economic development of poor neighborhoods, after which he went on to the Senate.
But who needs that kind of experience when you have a VP who knows how to dress a moose? And can colorfully reinterpret the constitution? Maybe if she winks seductively at Ahmandinejad he'll come around?

Well, Obama is not a socialist.
President Bush just handed over 1 trillion dolars or so to the banking industry, that's a lot closer to socialism than readjusting the tax code to where it was under Clinton (when rich and poor were doing better.)
Noone is making money on welfare. Welfare makes up a miniscule portion of our budget. We give far more welfare to corporations than to people.
Obama is not giving a tax cut to people who don't pay taxes, and you have nothing to be scared of.

I do go through and read my posts and try as best I can to correct spelling and check for grammar. Im noticing......and please prove me wrong, that McCain-Palin supporters are really kind of stupid. You're definitely onto something mocean. xndrx3215 misspelled the word "so" (which didn't need to be there anyway), forgot to put a space after "but", added one too many question marks after "stupid", forgot to capitalize the "h" in "Hmmmm", didn't put enough dots in the ellipsis, capitalized "nice" even though it wasn't necessary, forgot the punctuation after "though", didn't capitalize the second "c" in "McCain", and (to top it off) resorted to sexism by calling you "hon".
