I am his fan but did he really win a title with the Spurs? He played with them for 2001-02 season only right? And that year the Lakers were the champs. Anyway, remembering him with Scottie Pippen and Detlef Schrempf in Portland (1999-2001) and Shaquille O'neal, Alonzo Mourning, Eddie Jones and Christian Laettner in Miam (2005) always break my heart. They were both one game away from the Finals but could not win that elusive Game 7. Jeez, I miss the 90's.
I remember the game when he hit 9 three pointers. It was against the Sonics. He hit something like 7 in 8 possessions, then got fouled shooting a 3 and hit the FTs. One of the more amazing things I've seen.
steve smith is one of my all time favs, as soon as i heard ja rule, i quickly turned off..
