Hello Steve! I'm from Georgia and my name is David. I want to say that your videos were so so helpful for me! wanna to thank you for that and wish you good luck!
In informal English many people use the pronoun 'their' to represent his/her. However, in academic English his/her would be the only one commonly accepted.
Вот это да!! (Wow!!) Thank you Steve! You know Russian?i'm impressed. thanks a lot for the explanation. i was just watching another video of yours. I'm learning so much from them. You are an amazing teacher. Да, Ваши видео очень полезные, Вы так всем помогаете! Удачи Вам во всём! Наташа
Right! I understand this from a zoologist's perspective, nevertheless, we still use the ostriche in this idiom !
Ostrica ! That's interesting as I know there are similar words ending in ' a ' for oyster in Portuguese and Spanish. I wish you all the best in the UK and I am happy my videos are helping you!
Hi Steve ! About the expression "To laugh yr headd off" (it's already happeneed with me !), and I want to know if it's already happened with you 2 when you were recording an "aula".!
Try to learn as much as you can from native speakers by immitating them! Why not practise in front of a mirror or if you are living in a country where English is the mother tongue, you could join some community groups where everybody speaks English.
Very amazing videos..Your're a great teacher.. Do you now how to increse my english to sound as an engish speaker...I'm a care rep and sometimes the people who I speak with, notice that I'm not an american. Is there a way I could have some extara lessons, cuz I'm not in an english country and it is very frustrating..I know the practice could help, but I think I need more help..Thank you for share those videos and hope you can answer. Have a nice day!!
Hey Steve! I wanna know if when I say "I've got to get over someone" it means "I've got to avoid someone" or it's more like "I've got to forget someone"? (I know that "to avoid" and "to forget" someone can mean the same thing, but for me there's a difference...)
And by the way, your videos are helping me so much! :)
I always laugh my head off when watching your vidoes Steve! You are so funny! I guess, it's a very good method od learning. And being hard-headed is one of my personality trait.. I'm starting to feel compassion for my future husband!
This is the best way to promote a language, by teaching it in such a delightful way. Legislating a language has been proven fatal, see Québec or Catalonia. You are doing a great job!
Idioms are really interesting because they are not readily understandable. But once you get the meaning, it is nice to use them.

Hi!
Get over = recuperate, recover
"I've got to forget someone"? (I know that "to avoid" and "to forget" someone can mean the same thing, but for me there's a difference...)"
Get over means forget in this case. It doesn't matter if you avoid them or not, the important thing is 'to let someone go'
