What a fantastic game this was, both in the arcades and on the speccy. Please check out old-school-micro for more tributes to this and other ZX Spectrum games!
absolutely.. the Spectrum version was so playable compared to C-64 version that simply sucks in terms of gameplay... the major difference being the fact that on Commodore the enemies simply shoot immediately making the game unplayable.. Spectrum owners luckily got Jonathan Smith to do the job and it shows.. Spetrum version prob. second best after NES R. Attack arcade GB/RA translation
Yes credit to Imagine for making the effort to make it so close to the arcade version It was better than the CPC version also which had terrible scrolling Its a pity other games on the ZX Spectrum weren't made as well I guess it took a while to learn how to program the computer to such a high standard Green Beret must have been pushing the computer to its limits It wasn't a very good machine in terms of sound and sprite handling It was popular because it was cheap C64 was better overall
Hahahah! Good Times. Speeccy and my old rotten labeled (till i can´t read nothing) games. Crash, Your Sinclair, MicroHobby... Oh, my. I Have my rubber one, still works. Nice game. But my fav one was Dan Dare. (Oh, Manic Miner too!)

This was probably the best game I ever played on the ZX spectrum It must be the best arcade conversion on to the computer

thanks a lot for the vid!! Wasted so many hours on this and loved it.
You missed out the best bit which comes just after this where you get to kill the guard dogs.
I love killing dogs in vidoegames eg Saboteur and Tenchu. Sorry about that...
