  • @TheTat1992 I do have a gloss, but I refrain from sharing it as I want signers out there to develop their own interpretation of the song. There is no right or wrong way to sign a song - and I've seen this song (with the ionic phrase 'Defying Gravity') signed 20 different ways. Yes, some fit the meaning better, yet others take the more literal aspect of the phrase. For this round, I used RESIST-REBEL-BREAKFREE (using the number 8 connection and unlinking the fingers away in an arc).

  • i can't really see the sign because of the lighting...is there a gloss for this? I want to know who to interpret "defying gravity"

  • @TheTat1992 how*

  • Well don't give up. It is alot of work but worth it. For me it's always been more of a struggle to understand the signed message than to sign myself but lots of time and practice help...If you can find deaf people to hang out with that is a HUGE help.

  • audio provided for the sign-impaired audience. lol love that!

  • @signingsis Its understandable due to the fact some in the audience my not be hearing impaired. This way they can follow as well. :D

  • @missmisaamane1 yes I get it but I love that the hearies who don't know ASL are called sign-impaired

  • @signingsis Im teaching myself. I say I may be sign impaired. :P Its extremely hard....
