@ZGS1988 Actually, that is a myth. The only thing a carb load does it push water into your muscles. Hence why some people have massive water retention from a carb load. The insulin spike from sugar makes you store fat, while your body rapidly accumulates water to store the glycogen. Muscle repair happens from protein insulin response. It is a very different process. Both carbs and fat can be used to help build muscles, but both are limited to how long it takes for you to process the protein.
@PairoftheSocks Have you ever carb loaded? Have you ever competed? You go on stage and not eat carbs and see how you look my friend. You'll be flat as a board, dry yes, but flat and small. Don't talk non-sense when you have no clue. It's like saying you can build a house, when all you've ever done was play with LEGOS. have good day :)
@PairoftheSocks Yes, that's the misconception you have my friend.. You think bodybuilders are weak, well shame on you. You can't generalize one person from another. Don't get mad at me bro, you didn't specify strength anyways. ::SUPERIOR::
@ZGS1988 LOL. Such a dumb troll. Anyway, I doubt body builders are stronger than powerlifters and other professional athletes. There is nothing wrong with body builders. Anyway, my response was not about body building or strength training. It was about the myth that carbs make your muscles absorb protein. Protein is not something you absorb, its a material your enzymes use to repair cells. Muscle cells use lots of protein to become strong. A cell cannot just absorb it.
@PairoftheSocks You like to construe and somewhat amalgamate my words don't you? Let’s see: 1.) I never said bber's were stronger than power lifters. 2.) I said that you can't generalize one person from another, Hence; there will be some stronger athletes and some stronger bodybuilders. No need for the name calling, you’re the one making generalizations and being as specific as a 5th grader. Who’s the dumb one? Anyways nothing more to say to a pair of socks ROFL
@ZGS1988 Ok hot shot, I guess your just head and heals above all and I know nothing bla bla. Lets just end it their so you can go back to your little world mkay troll. Have a fabulous day pretending that the water weight you accumulate from carb loading is "muscle" like a fucking idiot. Instead of admitting that the art of body building is simply for the looks you continue to push the myth that carbs help you grow muscle tissue. Your only defense is to call me a name caller like a hypocrite.
@ZGS1988 No, I just feel bad for people who are insane and locked in their own internet worlds. Your the only one that has gone mad. So continue to call me a name caller hypocrite, because it doesn't matter how much I name call as long as it is served with a cold plate of truth. lol
@PairoftheSocks Truth? Insane? What? Read my posts again, i don't think there's any insanity in them. Do you read what you write or think about what you say before you write? Haha Duuuude, you got problems.
@ZGS1988 Denial... Another common method of the denier to make himself feel less guilty for being wrong is to claim the other person has problems and is the the person with psychological problems. Also, you have purposefully pushed the argument way off from the beginning which was about what carbohydrates do for muscles. You responded with "have you ever competed" and simply claimed what I said was nonsense and that you would look "flat as a board", which then I explained was from a stren perspe
@PairoftheSocks HA! Okay man you can take your elementary comments and arguments to someone else, for someone who is 34 years old you sure don't act like it, however; you can create a persona behind a keyboard ;). Good luck in your future arguments because you need work. There's no need for me to proclaim victory, because any person with a brain could read our posts and see who strayed off topic and who was impregnable. You need to listen to the song "runaway" for some hope my friend. Good day2u
I have a Q. re: Taking an oil supplement...should you be using fat to cook your foods (eggs, meat whatever)? Or are you preparing them with no fats and then eat the fat (like you just did) uncooked...or do you use fat to cook with AND eat the fat off the spoon as a supplement?
Hi Jimmy, I just subbed yesterday...going through some of your vids. Broccoli doesn't blow you up before a workout? what would you suggest instead of broccoli if someone cannot tolerate broccoli...cooked spinach? It cooks down considerably compared to broccoli Or is the idea to eat a bulky vegetable to fill you up with the fiber? I am loving your videos and trying to learn all that I can!
I love your down to earth approachable demeanor, for anyone who says "no enthusiasm" "mumbling"...maybe they should watch those obnoxious 80's workout videos with tony little and enthusiasm, barking at and cheering the client on.
I do about 25 minutes of cardio post workout... is that good for fat loss? Sometimes it will change to less or more, depending what intensity I'm working at... is that good though?
