  • I loved Groovie Goolies when I was a little kid, Filmation did this cartoon, Groovie Goolies was Halloween cartoons, Filmation made this and many other cartoons from the mid 60s through to the early 90s, Filmation was a excellent studio. "I needed that!"

  • Loved this show as a kid. It came on WCBS in NYC on Saturday mornings before the Cosby Show. RIP Howard Morris. "I needed that!"

  • 3:30 Just where does Sabrina fit into all this besides her place as the Goolies' "distant relative"? Or is she a cartoon Marilyn Munster (that is, with witchly superpowers, of course)? LOL

  • @NeluThat70sKid Sabrina was a distant relative. :)

  • clever likable kids cartoon! Not many like it anymore!

  • I had to get up early on saturday morning to watch this show as a little kid. Hated to miss it. thanks for adding this.

  • Use to watch this show! Had forgotten all about It! Brings back memories!

  • @victorseay ME TOO...

  • Thiis is like a mix between scooby doo and Laugh In .-.

  • what does the scouter say about their pun level

    it's over 9000!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That Mummy sounds like Uncle Albert in 'Mary Poppins'.

  • I am watching this show for the first time in my life. Quite funny :D

  • Is this a Hanna Barbera prod.? If so, it's no wonder I like it. I love anything and everything H/B.

  • @tsjrlover Fimation produced this. They also did The Archie Show.

  • @swarlock Yeah, but this show DOES kinda look and sound like Hanna-Barbera made it, or Ruby-Spears productions. Same animation, similar character designs, same sound effects and laugh track. The characters also remind me of Dracula's gang from "Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf"

  • @wileyk209zback If I remember correctly I think there was an animator or two who may have worked in Hanna Barbera at one time and came to work for Filmation which may account for the look of The Goolies. But make no mistake Lou Schiemer was the producer for all The Filmation shows along with Hal Sutherland.

  • @wileyk209zback

No, it was Filmation who made this and dozens other cartoon shows--from the mid 60's all a way through to late 80's. Great studio.

  • @RX552VBK I KNOW this is a Filmation production. But Filmation's shows often remind me of Hanna-Barbera or Ruby-Spear's output (similar character designs, same sound effects), or the 1967-1969 Looney Tunes shorts Warner Bros. Animation produced in their waning years.

  • Heh, Larry Storch's Drac voice is pretty much the same as his Mr. Whoopie voice from "Tennessee Tuxedo"

  • It sounds like the blue ghost that made various appearance on this show is called Cecil Boo DeMille which is a homage to Cecil B. DeMille.

  • Adorei rever, obrigada (Thank you)

  • OMG that ghost looks like a sperm cell.
