i don't get why Stone Gods had to be disbanded in order for the Darkness to reunite, there loads of musicians that are in several bands at once, why couldn't they? they prrtty much have a new studio album ready why not release and see what happens?

Must admit I'm still sour that The Darkness are gone, I much preferred them. Though niether are original you don't see many bands like The Darkness these days. That and I'm not really kean on these guys set, its kinda bland imo.

variety is the spice of life, i prefer a mix, i think these guys will be around a long time, so i would prefer they keep it multi genre, cause im sure they will acquire quite the catalog over time

If you are a romanticist, you'd like Ed back, just for the whole Darkness story etc etc. Reality is, I think Robin is a much better drummer and has taken this band up a few levels in the live area.

Really love Stone Gods, thought this was amazing to witness yesterday!! This could (and should) be the opener of the new record.
