Red Sea is amazing! I've been snorkling at Marsa Alam and you just see amazing things like sea turtles. I also had an encounter with a barracuda, but that's a fish you don't want to see next to your head!

NestorDive, i done my diving at Sharm-el-shech and Dahab.

I found the sharks in the water too frightning.

I stayed at the Royal Savoy hotel complex. Best 4 weeks of my life.

We even dined with the Bedouin too, they are amazing people.

Do you go into the Waddis inland? You need a four wheeler for that.

@6767linda haha when I was in Dahab we went to this cool Bedouin fish market with fresh catches and meals cooked at market price. It was a great experience; stayed at Red Sea Relax and scuba dived. Also saw a sea turtle swimming the opposite direction 10-20 meters below along a wall of coral

I've been to Sharm El-Shekh, Egypt and the sea is great as heaven..

I live in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and the Red Sea is great though it's not as great as the Red Sea from the Egyptian side.

First time i was in Egypt was when i was like 5 years, and then we swam in the Red Sea.

I was in egypt the first time in april 2008 ( by then i was in sharm el sheikh) . And im going back there but to Hurghada and the Giftun Islands.

I really recommend diving in the red sea. its amazing. And for everyone, even those who can't swim. Since the water is so salt, you float like piece of wood.
