Why do all Big Ten fans always point out the travel factor? Its tradition where the Rose Bowl is played. I do agree the Royster injury did hamper there performance but saying Daryl Clarke will dominate when there ehtire starting o-line is gone and both of there big time receivers are gone in Williams and Butler so saying they will dominate is unrealisitc and using the travel argument is just a lame excuse.

Lou Holtz was on his game during this pregame. He was right, Joe Paterno got his team ready. It is too bad that Pete Carroll got his team MORE ready. Holtz is a tool and a half. I wish they did a postgame with Tool Holtz and replay some of his comments. Douche bag!

Did Lou Holtz say he wasnt sold on the USC offense???? When was the last time USC scored less than 28 points in a bowl game in the past 7 years. And this was supposed to be against the Big 10's best defense. I almost dont even care if USC ever wins another game again because when it comes to the big games, whether USC wins or loses, at least its fun to watch which is more than I can say for most teams in the country.

Top to bottom, SEC is the best conference but not as dominate as its been the last couple years. They say defense wins championships and thats why UF beat OU. OU's a joke and u beat them by only 10. So what makes u think UF is better than USC? We are 23-1 against non-conference games since '03. Nobody prepares for big games better than USC. we've been doing it for several years. UF lost to MICHIGAN last year.

BTW, PAC-10 went 5-0 including 3 upsets in the bowl games. How bout urs?

To all SEC fans, USC is 4-0 against SEC teams including Arkansas who was crushed and went to the SEC championship that year and Auburn at their place when they were ranked #4. SEC fans hide behind their overrated conference. Alabama didnt win any big games when it mattered, Georgia was a bust, LSU was hot/cold all season. UF was the only legit one. If Oregon State didn't play Penn State and Utah, they could easily be 11-2.

i like florida, but here's why i think usc would win.

florida's strength is running the football.

percy harvin would probably break off some runs, but usc has a fast enough defense to not let him take over the game. tim tebow would not be able to run over linebackers and safeties like he did againt oklahoma because usc has the hardest hitting defense in the country. usc also has a better running game than oklahoma did. mark sanchez is also a very accurate quarterback, and can throw on the run

yaa true true..da SEC wasnt all dat great dis year as dey usually are.. Usually we have uga, fla, auburn,bama, south carolina, lsu and occasiionaly tenn gets in da top 25. My opinion is jus dat sec has tough competition every Sat and USC does nt really have competition.. dnt get me wrong USC is da truth cuz dey do take care of business in bowl games but rarely ever played an SEC team.. i jus feel like FL and Uga would give dem a goood match..
