@BeanManIncorporated My favorites are 2, 1, 5, 3, 6, 4, 7, 8. I actually found 3 better. 3 had a story mode and a Duel boards which wasn't in any other Mario games.
@Japancommercials4U2 4 also had a story mode. Ah, I liked 4's minigames, I loved the gameplay, the graphics (which doesn't make a good game), and... well, I got that when I was about 6, it holds memories.
But opinions are opinions. I'm gonna get 3 and 6 and see if I liked them. I used to love 8, but It isn't as good as the others to me now... I hope 9 is alot better.
Great game and commercial, unlike the ones they show now.

i have only played mario party: 1, 2, 3, 5, advance so i still need to play: 4, 6, 7 and 8.
my all time faveourite will have to be 5 cuz i have it, i played for al least 100 hours and i RULE at it.

Well, honestly, I haven't played 6 and 3, but from the gameplay, 6 looks better than 3.
And 8 MIGHT not be my least favorite, I'd need to really think about it.
