I guess you just gotta use your imagination, that Donovan's piloting is so erratic that he's hard to hit, but also makes it hard for Sancho to shoot down the bastard following. Woulda been too hard for them to show, I guess, but it sure would explain things well.

This is still fantastic after it was originally shown on ITV in the UK in the summer of 1984 during the Los Angeles Olympics.

OH NO they killed the camp of 15 people. 15 people vs 100 ships and 2 or 3 dozen mother ships with god knows how many reptiles are on board. I find it very difficult to call them aliens. More Lizards with human skin.

That's what I said!! If they have superior technology they could locate their mountain camp from orbit and vaporize it with one blast. Again, a plot point that they missed.

Those scenes used visual effect almost so good from quality Sci-Fi movies from the same year. Great job. I reamber this scene, and it's nice to see it again. The music was a fine adventure arrangement too.

@darthsciencit darth i think thats why the networks were so hesitant to launch it as a series, it was one of the highest budgeted shows of that time. when they launched it as a series it was easy to tell that they cut costs across the board.
