London to South Africa Motorcycle Expedition - Marsabit to Isiolo, Kenya in a truck

nice videos and have enjoyed your adventures. We are setting off in just over a week to do the same, but ZA north back to EU on two drz. Tell me, the Nairobi-Marsabit-Moyale stretch seems the toughest. Why did you truck it south of Marsabit? roads too bad? what is security like along that route. although I know you traveled it a while back now. best wishes, K

@OhioKristian Hi .. it was definitely the worst road on the trip, but not unridable. If you take your time, you can easily do it. Its about 400km from Moyale, 200km to Marsabit and then about 200km to Isiolo. I was sick and some of the bikes were damaged, so we all pitched it and paid for a truck the last 200km. Security checkpoints here and there, but nothing major, we didn't really see anyone on the road and never felt unsafe, good luck. check out touringted(dot)com, also on DRZs
