Dream Theatre is such a Rush Tribute band. They love Rush. They do some covers as well. I really dig them. Here's a rush song to work on timing, I been playing for 35 years and I STILL feel its one of the hardest Rush songs. Circumstances, from Hemispheres. My daughter drums too, and thank God shes better than I am. I have said for quite some time, sh should go pro, but she wants to be a Doctor instead, You're great, dont stop. keep on keepin on

From my experience, you should buy the cymbals that have the sound you desire. I never buy cymbals unless I can hear them first. Remember too that cymbals have to be "broken in" and as they age they will go through a change in sound. For recording, I actually buy used cymbals from a local place that does instrument rentals. As for brand names they all have their good ans bad points.

I personally prefer hand hammered cymbals and for Chinas I like Wuhan hands down over any others,

Hannah - I've watched several of your videos and you're a superb player (way better than me). I've seen Neil Peart doing 'Limelight' live twice in England (Stafford BIngley Hall 1981 and Sheffield Arena 2007). One criticism - you really need to hit the kit during the fills, because he does. Keep up the good work though.
