Democracy IS a system of governance which defines the true will of the majority of the people and makes it into the supreme law of the land. When was the last time your government asked you what they should do? Never. There is no democracy. What we call democracy makes a mockery of democracy! If government did what the people want there wouldn't be rampant political corruption. And, there would be peace and prosperity for all. And, your kids could play safely in your front yard.
I really dont care what you meant with this video XD, I felt that and I am happy cuz the more videos I see the better idea I get from democracy for myself
I felt this, This video begins with people and working hard, building things, then they chose who will be the "manager", It suppose to be the majority will, it suppose to be "democracy", but it is not, and when the people protest in favor of them own rights the power which has been centralized on some few hands repressed them.
Democracy's ideal is great but impossible, It's what we have been seeing among the history.
I also loved the vertical split screen effect. Excellent and it worked really well
I didn't love the music but it grew on me - again, it contributed to the notion of democracy as a passe or old-fashioned concept, so if that is what you were going for, then you achieved it.
I don't know anything about the whole project, but I'd like to see that notion/concept developed further.
Actually, this clip is even better when you watch it more than once.
It's topical and yet retro... I mean, you can't see and hear MLK without thinking of Obama.
It looks like you were using (free) stock footage, so it's almost as if you are saying that democracy is a passe or old-fashioned concept... I dunno if that's what you were going for, but I really liked the clip.
