They didn't cheat they just melee kill all the enemies. 1000 points for every second on the clock at the end of the match and 5 seconds gained for every melee kill. I have 957,000.

use chris redfield(bsaa) and when it starts, discard your pistol and ammo so all enemies will drop shotgun ammo instead of pistol ammo, just until u unlock wesker or anyone better

Cause they manage to kill all the enemies (150 in total including the chickens). When that happens, the game ends and you'll earn more points depending on the remaining time. So, like OMGDUDEWTH said, combos don't really matter. It's cool though to get high combo, but to get more points, you have to kill everything as fast as possible.
