This concert was in 2003 and at that time there was a lot of talk of Declan being in the studio recording his newest album (with EMI), but then he got dropped by the label, so this concert was all we'll ever hear of that 2003 album =(

This is an extremely rare performance of Declan's. I wish he would have recorded "Rainbow Man" on one of his CD's. It is an AWESOME song and one of my favorites. Thank you for posting it. How wonderful it must have been to be in the audience for that 2003 Young Voices Concert. Declan is an absolutely INCREDIBLE singer with an AMAZING voice. Even at a young age, he OWNED that stage! 5 Stars ALL THE WAY!

Listening to the lyrics, I'm still trying to figure out what Elvis Presley is counting in heaven! lol I also agree with what you said about him owning the stage...it seems like its natural to him...captivating an audience and being completely calm and confident, even at a young age. And his voice, as I heard someone say, could "bring angels to tears"...
