Nope, definately a G60. I had one with modified charger and a Supersprint exhaust plus a load of other stuff - it sounded just like that only with more whistles from the supercharger. The exhaust note you can hear is at first form the Golf but as the G60 pulls away you can hear the Corrado.

Sounds like VR6 to me as i own one :) but u can also hear a hiss of G60 supercharger - maybe that's VR6 with G supercharger, as its possible to fit it on VR6.

umm im not sure what youre smoking, but the G-lader IS a supercharger. Its a scroll-type. Its compression channels resemble a "G" and it has a 60mm diameter inlet (hence the name G60). Actually, the MKIV R32 has 250hp in both US and EURO trim. They rated the MKIV US Spec at 240hp because they did not want to interfere with Audi sales. But The MKIV R32 is the same exact car as the MK1 Audi TT 3.2L Quattro. EVERYTHING is the same. Poor TT drivers got suckered into not only a more expensive car but an UGLY car when they could have had the 2004 MKIV R32 for cheaper and have a better looking car!
