I for one would greatly appreciate some videos of your frequent trips/hikes, and you could throw in some knowledge if you do bushcrafting (as you did in this one) :) Thanks for sharing!
Could you tell me what the storage compartment item was? It looked like you had a battery in one end, and a of course the tampon in the other. I have been looking for something just like it, but have not found anything until this video. Any info would help...
i have to agree with most of these comments...i felt like i was there.chillin with you and goofball..very nice job...looks like a great day for both of you...nice commentary on resources and skills demo.
Without a doubt one of the most enjoyable vids I have seen yet this year ! Great job. Thank you for allowing us to tag along. You have a wonderfull buddy there in Max . Give him a treat for me .Happy Trails !
Hey man, great video! what a beautiful setting, I would have been so tempted to stay the night. Amazing the amount of natural resources when you're switched on to them. So pleased you can show us the amazing area around you.
Great vid Beast, it's all about the simple pleasures. If these winter conditions keep up it could be a nasty fire season in the spring. Think snow. When's the last time you've seen it this warm and dry in January?
Haha love the Elmer fud ref. Look at ol' Max there having fun. Loved that part where he's chewing on the stick. Looks like you guys have about the same amount of snow we do.
Good video! I like dogs! I had a Springer years ago. Too bad he got old and had trouble walking. So I had to stop taking him with me. He also loved playing in the snow.
Never thought about the Tampon thing but I do know Kotex are good for first aid!
I'm glad to see I am not the only one that packs tampons in my first aid kit lol . I have used them to plug punchier wounds from sticks and stumps on legs and arms from my days riding trail bike and atv's . there also great for nose bleeds , looks silly but it beats walking around the woods with a bloody face lol
We haven't had much snow in the Northeast either. It's picked up a bit since New Years, but just after Christmas time the weather report showed we had a TOTAL accumulation of 12.4"...last year we had 120"....must be that darned global warming...
Hey Beast do you ever play around with those Swedish fire logs? If so, do they have any real advantage? Any video i ever saw of one has always been during snow fall so your video reminded me of them. Thanks for the video.
I suffered snow sickness once in 1993 coming down Baldy Mountain in NM. It was weather much like here in this video & I stripped down to my undies & ran around in the snow. That's a good memory : )
I'm glad you're sharing these little outings. It's always great to see your playground.
no snow here as yet, just some brr cold. Great vid Beast, thanks

We haven't got much snow in Finland either. Basically it has been a "black winter" but after new year it's finally starting to look like winter.
