Well, I've been going through another wave of ticks for the past two days, and I just realized this that it happened in and around both a thunderstorm and fog - As seems to be the case with MOST of my episodes.
At first I thought it was just a matter of temperature, but now I really think barometric pressure might have an aggrivating effect on it (especially since the atmosphere is much denser with all that humitidy, so it is harder for me to breathe).
yes, i have recently been diagnosed with having vocal ticks aswell as aspergers and ADD, if i stutter and cannot get my words out properly i scream a random word out or one of the words ive been trying to say, also i have those things where you shake your head, but i somtimes look all around with my eyes really fast, and the newest one i have notices iv been doing is the humming and standing up all the time when im sitting down quite randomly, good video.
Tourettes is based around the Cyngulate Gyrus (which is underneath the corpus calossum - near the region decisive in AS), this is the region where OCD's and substance abuse emerge from (usually depressants like opioids and alcohol) .
I suspect it a kind of epilepsy, indicative of an overactive cyngulate gyrus.
AS and Tourettes I think are loosely linked, as the two areas responsible are next-door to eachother, the AS might just aggrivate it (as AS is a sort of neurological municipalism).
Odd. I have recently been developing my tics again after more than a decade.
It's all around my head and resperatory system. I've been getting the compulsion to blink, cock my head on my left shoulder, and contract my larynx, which sometimes makes it hard to swallow (and yes this seems to happen when excited, or in warm weather, and usually I'm drawn towards a cool breeze to calm me down, so I'm also compelled to look out the window or in the freezer).
You DO look normal. And this video is very inspiring and thank you thank you for making this video!
