I am a Sinhalese but I hate to say I am Sinhalese because our political leaders are corrupt and they are killing the Tamils. If they are smart they could have treated the Tamils equally so that our people and Tamils etc can live in peace.

These refugees don't want the LTTE terrorists to be defeated.If there is no LTTE(no war in Sri Lanka) there is no valid reason to apply for asylum in Europe, America, Canada ,Australia etc.That's the reason why they are barking like mad dogs.If the war stops thousands of Tamils might be deported.That's why they keep funding terror in Sri Lanka.(terror=valid reason to claim asylum).

If you have some time this weekend, please do take the time to drop by the protest and learn about the issue that has caused them to come to the streets.

One of the main reasons we are there is to bring awareness about the cruelty of the government of Sri Lanka towards the Tamils ever since 1948.

We understand that this may cause temporary inconveniences for all. But there is a reason these people are out there.

There are 4 people also going on a Hunger Strike in front of the Parliament.
