A very good and intuitive explanation of the f-test with the distinction between the (RSSr-RSSur)-part and the normalizer part. I havent (for some reason - its quite embarrassing since it now seem pretty obvious) thought about it this way - instead Ive been looking at the whole expression at the same time. Now I have to bring up my old econometric notes and see if any more expressions can be divided into sub-parts, to make the expression intuitively understandable.
