@dying2l Hmmm... well, if it's not wet, then it might be able to pick it up, but only surface level. A vacuum would do a better job, I think the suction part of the vacuum would be best to pick up cleaning chemicals.
@vanhstudent Thanks. Just be careful. Remember to unplug everything when soldering and such. : )
Don't think I mentioned it in the video, but I like to put the AC plug through the hole in the handle before plugging it into the jack on the battery box, so the cord doesn't get in the way flapping around while sweeping.
@Parwaz786 Not sure I can show much more than I did in this one. Just gotta solder the connections right. And cut the little hole to the size of you socket. It depends on what spare parts you've got to put in place. Mine was kind of a kit bash. lol! Best of luck, and be careful! Make sure to get an AC adapter that's the right voltage and amp! I got mine online, but it was also available at radio shack. Variable volt setting. 7.5 is what you want. Check the watt on battery first!
@earthygreen I thought I commented on this after your post, but it must not have taken. Thank you. That's certainly a first... no one's ever said that to me before. LOL.
Hey! Congrats on the first comment! I'm surprised somebody even found this video. How did you come across it?
Yea, but you know how disclaimers go... gotta be free of liability, ya know? I don't care if someone shocks themselves by soldering it while it's plugged in, but I don't wanna get sued for it by giving them the idea. haha. ; )
I did this with a Hoover Slider, but the motor was shot before I did this. All it did was hum....

@asiancustoms
#1. Hey, be nice.
#2. In the US, we pronounce it 'Sodder,' my Aussie friend. (the L is silent, for some reason. Hate the language, not the user. ; )

can this be used with carpet cleaning foam?
dying2l 9 months ago
@dying2l NO! Not at all!!! Don't try it! It doesn't use any cleaner stuff, it's just the brushes part of a vacuum cleaner.
I don't think it was made to handle that kind of wet chemical stuff.
chris24jc 9 months ago
@chris24jc It's not wet, the foam dries and it can be vacuum with a normal vacuum. I just want to know if this can pick it up.
