  • God I love Rodger

  • Thank you for posting this brilliant man's vid.

  • anyone know where i can find parts one, two and three of this song all cut together?

  • An amazing talent and actually I've recently discovered 95% of my favourite pink floyd songs are in fact Roger waters songs. what a man, what an album!! One of the only albums I can listen to start to finish.

  • Very beautiful song. Greethings.

  • I remember being glued to my cassette player listening the whole album again and again.

  • the music stands out like a beacon of truth, if you have managed to miss getting it then just press play another time.

  • Wooooohooo what god wants god gets god help us all .........

  • i know that this video does not have that much views compaired to gilmours stuff.....but darn it roger fans like this stuff and they stay true!....

Roger waters for president....he knows what's goin on!!

  • Amused to Death - the album for true Floyd fans.

  • @xfilian1 I hate to say it, but you're wrong :| Go ask the other 5 million Pink Floyd fans and see what they say. Roger Waters just doesn't sound as good without the other members of Floyd. But I will agree that What God Wants is a good song though. (yet it could've been better)

  • @KiliFili13 My comment was more in reference to Amused to Death being a better album than any post-Roger Floyd output, which it is. Now of course, many may disagree with me but then many people got into Floyd during the 80's and 90's when Gilmour hacked the name around for a lousy buck and sold it to whoever was prepared to buy. To many people Gilmour is Pink Floyd and they have no idea of Roger's massive input into the band. Hence my comment about true fans. IMO of course. Each to his own.

  • Randy Jackson on bass.

  • @AverageBudgetFilms I know right....crazy ! :)

  • Love this song. Thanks for uploading it.

  • better than dividing bell 4 sho

  • @Icerues uh, don't you mean the Division Bell? (Why do you think that it's better than the Division Bell?) I think the Division Bell was actually better than Amused to Death because they actually played music; Roger Waters just talks in MOST these songs. And Roger waters just doesn't sound as good without the other members of Floyd with him anymore.

  • although I agree that this is a great song and album, I believe that Radio K.A.O.S is Rogers best solo work to date. Roger has the ability to express in his lyrics what we can only feel in our hearts, talent like his is sorely lacking in todays music world where most lyics are shallow and better suited to jingles for ads.

  • @tonygpf oh bullshit I love Waters/Floyd but your "opinion" of "todays" (love that generic term) music is woefully cliched crap...there is tons of talented music with soul and talent...btw, in Floyd's heyday, all the old farts called it crap and said all the good music was in their generation..nonsense that never ends-Waters is brilliant but unique as was Floyd-there was soooo much garbage in "yesterday's" music but we remember only the good open ur ears and mind-if you can which I doubt

  • @sixsixxsixxxx yeah your insults are probably as cheap as the crap your listen to, I made a comment and you turn it into a personal slight ....I stand by what I said. and try to refarin from flaming there's a good BOY

  • Fantastic- one of my favourite albums, and some of Jeff Beck's best playing on this track and most of the others. Jeff often seems to free himself from inhibitions when he plays on other peoples albums.

  • wow, roger waters can disturb even a person desensitized by the internet.

  • It's a shame that Eric Fletcher Waters died in WWII. He could have taught his son reality.

  • @cjlandry

I looked up scum in the dictionary your picture was there!

  • @therhameman ahahaha xD

  • that album is...?

  • The beat kinda reminds me of "Waiting for the Worms." This song is fantastic, Rogers a genius.

  • I love Jeff becks solos

  • super great

  • ahh. pure genius. music with depth. lyrics and music with a conscience! Roger is great.

We need more like him in today's music.

  • I SECOND THAT!!!

  • Guess the ape/monkey is US??

  • Thank you for the upload. I concur it is one of his best albums. I saw him last year in Tampa.

A once in a lifetime opportunity. In The Flesh tour. It was unforgettable. Peace.

  • Yes, I believe too this is one of his best albums. All the toughts of Waters are in those songs.

  • roger waters and also pink floyd "britain at its best" has been since the 1960s long live roger waters long live pink floyd its people like these that keep the british music wot it is today !!!!!GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!!!

  • 02:46. Who left The Doors open?

  • the absolute genius of Rock.

  • Oddly Roger sounds better live 1999-2002 than he did on this album (1992 I believe). Anyway, great song, great album, great artist.

  • Roger alternates 2 kinds of God:

What God (1) wants, God (1) gets, God (2) helps all.

    (1) = Supra-national government that uses market forces, manipulated conflicts, ignorance, fear, television to control population. Everything this God does, it "makes perfect sense expressed in dollars and cents". This kind of "God wants his secret never to be told".

    (2) = Conventional Supreme Being

  • The Words are "What God Wants, God gets, God help us all." I think he means WE create all these things falsely and to boot in the NAME of God. So God help us all when we look at what we have created on Earth. Best we start having a look at what we choose to be with in this world and what we are creating every day in our lives - a La Live Earth. The God he talks about is us! Tin Gods creating from the ego or the soul creating - which do you choose and which do you choose to support?

  • sorry but RodVert is right on this. all of Waters solo albums except one (Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking) were all used to make political statements, not religious ones. although using the albums to help with ones beliefs isn't a bad idea. peace :)

  • Finaly after 13 years of listening to this album, I get to see his mastery as well. My children grew up lstening to this and they are awake. They will make a difference in the world.

  • BINGO! Thought I was only seeing that.

  • Brilliant! Roger waters is amazing

  • ..... you fail.

  • This song is kinda sarcastic. It's talking about how people use religion inappropriately and inconsistantly to further their own agendas. Read the lyrics carefully.

  • Amused to death if you do not own it get its extremaly well written and sung and played the only negative is you want to kill the back up singers in makes perfect scence they are not bad just can be annoying because rogers voice is so much better again its an amazing ablem i highly recommend it to any pink floyd fan or anyone who likes roger waters =)

  • What does God want? I ask myself the same question eveyday. Waters with Beck helps me think about it.

  • Roger is not asking a question here. there is no question mark. But he is saying that whatever "god wants he can get" it's a statement. :)

Hey Roger wherever you are, YOU THE MAN!!!!

I've seen his concert in Detroit-Auburn Hills, and it was a great great great one. thx for the vid.

  • Good you liked it! You should listen to the live concert of Roger Waters "In the flesh" too. It's also a great piece of music! What albums of Roger/Floyd do you like?

  • I like it very much!

  • Amazing song! Why it`s the first time I hear it? Thanks for uploading!

  • I totally agree with you! you should listen to the whole album; "Amused to death". This is a fantastic piece of art! It's the album that "the Final Cut" could'ce been. Thats my opinion..

  • I`ve listened to the whole album now- yes, it reminds me of the Final Cut! And The Perfect Sense is amazing!
