@bune88 In Birth By Sleep Ven combined his heart with Sora's. While Ven fought his "Darkside" inside his heart, Mickey and Aqua fight Vanitas (Ventus's darkside) on the outside. In order to kill Vanitas, Ventus had to sacrifice himself. (Kh 1 Sora turns into a heartless = A nobody was born). Since Ventus fused his heart with Sora's, his nobody came out looking like Ventus. Hope that helped :D.

well here is my theory, i think this "ven" character is connected to sora though the keyblade(his heart inside the keyblade) so when sora got the keyblade for the first time ven became part of sora, so when sora lost his heart, the nobody took vens form. Guitargirl2540 - People have been saying that Ven, the one who looks like Roxas, visited Sora when he was a child thus creating the appearence of Roxas. Nobodies can be created from memory. And doesn't have to look like their whole self. It's not yet confirmed, as far as I know, but it seems possible.
