I really enjoyed this!!! And your comments above encouraged me! I have been playing for a few weeks now and was not happy with all the squeals that my violin has been making... but i see that what i need is persistence and time!!! :P

nice playing, Your violin tends to go on the low side which causes your right shoulder to go up, creating bowing issues. Higher the violin and the rest should come visually better in front of a mirror. Nice job

Yes, I have always liked this tune too. It is one of the first things a learnt when I began violin. I love the bridge section and how it flows back to the main theme.

10-11 years.
This is not a very hard song.
You'd probably be able to play melodies like this one after about 3-4, and plenty of other pretty but less advanced ones before that.
