The only "Meegan" i've ever heard of is Megan Follows. She's Canadian, and she played Anne Shirley in Anne of Green Gables....But I really really doubt that is who she is talking about...

she's one of the people who is in charge of putting together the Under the Volcano festival, i believe. tegan and sara played at UTV in 1999, and when tegan moved near meegan (sp?) a while ago, meegan started talking to her trying to get t&s to play at UTV again... and she finally succeeded. ;) it seems like she's known them for a while.

happens... :) there are some tours where it seems they only have a couple outfits they're dragging around with them. once tegan was like, "this is the only shirt i have! i can't even afford another shirt!" sure enough, she wore it like four shows in a row... LOL... (then the next time she was like, "i can't even afford to get this shirt laundered!")

Ahh I bet it was a bit hard for them. I only asked because I'm going to see them for the very first time this October (Yay!) and I wondered how long a normal concert would be?

oh okay! well, usually they will play for around an hour and a half. also, each opening band will play for 30-40 minutes and then there will be 15-20 minutes between each band to set up for the next one. so if the show starts at 8, the first band will be on at 8, the second band will be on around 9, tegan and sara will come on around 10, and they'll be done around 11:30. does that help?
