  • Just found this. If you come back from San Diego, THEP has moved from Pearson Ranch to Rio Bravo on Farm 259, just over the Rio Grande. Saturday's start at 8 a.m. Your video is lovely. What a great tribute to Bart.

  • I volunteered at THEP in the spring/summer of 2004.

Bart and his wife were great hosts to mentally/physically handicapped children.

We also had youngsters from disadvantaged homes, those kids had such great fun, everyone got in on the water fight. Im in SanDiego now. If I ever go back to EP I told myself that I gotta go check out THEP, I was devastated a few months ago to hear the passing of good ol' Bart. Is Julie still there? They had three good dogs.

  • after bart died julie did not want to have anything to do with thep so she handed it over to our wonderful new boss Karen. I know that Nija found a home with one of our volunteers but i believe the other went with julie when she moved to dallas. i hope we can see you if you ever come out, most of the old horses are still around but we have a couple of new faces that are wonderful. Like mojoe our newest pony, he is just as good as apache, just not as mean.

  • Thats a cute video mom.

  • um.......i think you have me confused......i am not a mom, i am one of the employees there so....um yeah, awkward..

    But thanks for the comment!!!

  • woohoo! horses!! ily rio!!!
