when the Konami logo appears put in this code (Assuming you have a D-Pad or key board with direction buttons on it) - Up, Up, Down, DOwn, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A. You can only put in this code if you cleared Castlevania HoD once and gotten Boss Rush. THen if you done code right the screen should be blue and not red. Go to boss rush and you'll get SIMON BELMONT as the playable character.

Each succeeding Belmont generation is stronger than the last, so Julius is the strongest of the Belmonts. The Belmonts had to get stronger in order to keep up with Dracula whose power was increasing as well.

The one thing that always pissed me off about the belmonts though, is they never got better with the whip. You could say they got weaker. Simon is still the only belmont who can use his whip in any direction AND brandish it.

Yeah, but in the game that took place afterwards, he lost that and the ability to control his momentum when jumping.

Which is pretty unfortunate considering how much easier his quest to collect those relics would've been.

@difjsohf Only in the boss rush mode. After unlocking boss rush mode, at the konami logo (before the main menu) insert the konami code (Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start). Start boss rush mode, and there you go. You're Simon Belmont with this version of vampire killer playing through each of the bosses. Have fun!

yes you begin the game playing with juste after you finish it you put on the name entry maxim and you will play as maxim

This theme plays when you input a secret code to play as Simon Belmont in the Boss Rush Mode. You must first input the Konami Code when the logo appears. If done correctly, the intro screen will look blue instead of red. That's all you need. When you enter Boss Rush Mode, you will be playing as Simon instead of Juste, and Vampire Killer's Theme will be playing for the whole Boss Rush.

yeah...its a code to play as simon on boss rush mode in Dissonance. w you start the game...the konami logo will appearas always. once it does...press those exact buttons and the screem title should be blue. then choose boss rush and whatever mode and simon belmont will be playble. only in boss rush, not the full game.
