i went 10 years ago......... bloody hard work!!!!!! i totally hated it the first few weeks i was there, but cried my bloody eyes out when i left! lol worth going but only if u r prepared to work until ur hands bleed! lol
well the thing is im not 21 im only 11 lol but i started making videos and stuff so i created an account to broadcast them! i suspect some pple do that
well if you go on their website and join and click in the nine week course (i assume that is the one ur on about!) and down the side click on apply now. hope this helps!
@gabbybella123 I deally you should apply 6 months to a yrat before you want to attend so if you are 15 now and want to come when u finish school then the year before
You should apply as soon as possible. We get very full and once you have a space at the BRS we can work out the best course for you to attend on as we have courses start every month. You can apply on line from our website.
im doing the foundation course on june the 1st cant wait even though im a beginner im a bit nervous about the riding anyone got some tips for me much appreciated
I was at the BRS in July 2008, it was incredible. Unfortunatly for me, I had no experience working in a stable, though I had ridden for 4yrs. I wasnt able to pick it up fast enough & I was too slow around the yard. I was sent away to get more experience & i have. I was hoping to return on the June 1st course but Amy told it was full for now. Best of luck, I'm sure you'll do great. A great confidence boosting horse is Able Choice, I rode him alot, he's amazing ;)
hey =D Well before I went to the BRS I hadnt done anything ever in a yard. I'd only ever ridden at riding school. So I was way behind everyone & I just couldnt pick it up fast enough, but there were a few others who were fine. The way they do things at the BRS is different from anywhere else I've worked since, it takes a long time. But you only need to look after 2 horses & you've got an hour to do it =) I was there for 4 weeks. Good Luck!!
I'm coming in July this year, I cannot wait! Its all I've ever wanted to do, & you really have made 1 dream come true already. I've achieved the first step to becoming a jockey =D Thanks BRS
ive sent my application form down :D really hope i get in !!
