  • Nice crappie at 2:27! great vid as always.

  • Hey Joe what is you best crappie rig I know they constantly hit live minnows but that's illegal he in Idaho so what can I do to spice up the dead minnows or what cranks do I use Love the show, best on YouTube

  • @berlinfbs

Ok here you go. An ice bobber the larger size. I like the bright orange ones. Take two 1/32 ounce hair jig. I like white, reds and yellows. Rig them on the line at the same time. Just jiggle the bobber along not paying attention to the jigs. Set the jigs 3 feet or so below the bobber if cover allows. Hair jigs just seem to imitate live minnows very well. Some old, old guy taught me that trick. Thanks for the kind comments. I really appreciate it.

  • Nice Slabs Joe everytime I move to another state I try to find them "Crappie Pappi's" haha

  • Joe, how do you hook your minnows? Thru the lip or the back? Ive heard

some just above the tail? As Always, Great videos...

    Steve

  • @steveohio120

Just above the tail for me. It seems to help them stay alive a little longer.
