  • @kingericni What has the religion of the RUC/PSNI officers got to do with it? It isn't the religion of the officer which results in him being a target, it is the uniform on his back.

Also, Mcguiness is the biggest propaganda coup for the so-called 'dissidents'. The fella is a hypocrit.

I suggest you learn your facts before replying.

All those fire crackers and crowds of people really disrupted her visit.

Probably to busy at home eating their bargain bucket ;)

  • RIRA members are fatter than PIRA members were. It doesn't look good, if you're portraying yourselves as an army, to be obese.

  • @kingericni You little canonfuck, I hope the RIRA slot you. This is OUR country you scummy settler. You do not belong here.

  • 26 bankrupt counties.LOL.

  • ‎30 years ago today the world was made a better place. Rot in hell Bobby Sands

  • Lads I too am a proud republican & served the movement till ceasefire....now I know where you boys are coming from but....the difference is...you dont have the support that we had & you are riddled with informers. Next time you go out on active service...take a good look at the volunteer beside you...is he clean!!!!

  • Shame. Shame on them.

  • @pppearse fair point, i agree entirely, the point I was addressing is that the majority of republicians are not in support of returning to how things were, if the RIRA claim to repesent the republican people they should listen rather than pursing their own agenda. they have stated that the police forces cant hide behind the church or gaa, the majority of the public arent behind them either, how more clear can we make it that we dont want them to act in our name

  • Ye can say what ye like, but the growth in support since last year is phenomenal, R.IRA-Uncompromising Republicans!

  • @pppearse yes you're right;t by definition republics aren't necessarily founded on democracy but would you not agree a socialist leaning republic would aspire to that? I agree with what you are saying though, killing is never acceptable - the difference is; whether they were right or wrong in the past there was community support for paramilitary action, there isnt now, the majority of republicans don't want this.

  • @artbyshaun I would agree that yes in all probability such a republic would be a democracy in some shape or form. The problem I see in this is this idea of support giving legitimacy. support for killing has fluxuated throughout Irish history. Support for killing has never been overwhelming but if we are to base the acceptability of killing on support then there is always the chance that tomorrow a majority could support killing. If a majority of republicans supported killing are we to accept it?

  • @pppearse "Giving it a good go"? That's a disgusting way to refer to the cowardly murder of a 25 year old man, who was given no chance to defend himself and was posing no threat to anyone. You should be ashamed of making such a statement.

You and the scum you claim to support are nothing more than an embarrassment to the Irish people, and in history books the Real IRA will be remembered as no better than the Hutu who hacked to death unarmed Tutsi in Rwanda.

  • @padraic2001eire hold on now mate lets not jump on the "scum" wagon here. I was speaking in terms of speaking to a supporter of the provos. The provos did the exact same stuff. I am saying that in terms of the omagh bomb, the rira clearly did not intend to kill civillians. I guess my point is that if one supported the provos then they cannot logically condemn people who do what they did. Don't come after my blood hi, you cant kill and lock up everyone who thinks outside media circles

  • @padraic2001eire also the "scum" word really is getting a bit over used don't you think? every single person using the same word just because someone used it on BBC and UTV. People should think about the issue rather than regurgitate everything they hear on the TV/ Radio. Learn the history, analyze the issues and respond intellectually rather than joining in the zombie-like chorus of "scum scum scum" you wont change peoples thoughts like that.

  • @pppearse Firstly, I've been calling the PIRA scum for years, I'm not jumping on any bandwagon. Never heard them referred to as such on UTV or BBC, though I would welcome it if I did. Secondly, I've got a better grasp of history than most of the Neanderthals who claim to support the RIRA: I am aware that de Valera - the leader of the anti-Treaty IRA - acknowledged that, were partition not implemented by the British, the Dáil and Ulster unionists would organise it themselves (22nd August 1921).

  • @padraic2001eire well at least theres consistency rather than most who used to support the provos condemning the reals. you repeat "claim to support", of course they must have some support although its a bit irrelevant really as something is either right or wrong regardless of who supports it. If we are to find total peace in this country the issue must be adressed. The issue is that british troops remain in Ireland. Lots of people dont like it some really dont like it.

  • well said Padriac, there is no place for paramilitary action any more in our country, we can achieve the future we want without dragging the land into the past.

The idea of british occupancy is retarded, the british state want rid of us and the republic doesnt want us, im deeply offended that the RIRA claim to represent us. the very idea of a republic is a people that is shaped and governed by democracy and solidarity for ones neighbour regardless of race or creed! love is all you need.

  • @artbyshaun Actually a republic doesnt have to be based on democracy, different concepts. I will disagree with anyone who supports what the provos did but condemns the "dissidents" now. They did and do the same things, albeit at a smaller scale. Either condemn them all or none.

  • must say i like the use of "they havent gone away you know". adams was such a fool 4 sayin it.

  • Since the Provisional IRA's 1997 ceasefire, dissident republicans have killed 2 policemen, 2 soldiers and 31 civilians. So 11.5% of the people they are responsible for killing were members of the security forces, and 88.5% of them were innocent bystanders. Yet many keyboard commandos on the internet claim to support them? There's a word for people like that: fucking idiots (okay, two words...).

  • @padraic2001eire omagh was a clear mistake mate, since that these guys seem to have cleaned up their game and are giving it a good go. If only they were not needed, the brits should get out now instead of letting another war start up.

  • @padraic2001eire,The biggest act of terrorism in Northern Ireland may have been the work of the British security services.

The bomb in the town of Omagh, in Northern Ireland, in August 1998, killed 29 people and injured more than 200.

Accusations have been made that the bombing was the work of a British double agent within the Real IRA.

  • @cj4680 That is a ridiculous conspiracy theory with no reputable or persuasive evidence to support it. It was invented by sad individuals who cannot accept that what they are doing is spitting in the face of the people of Ireland.

  • @padraic2001eire There is lots of knowledge as to testimony by a certain british agent ( name escapes me) and some phone tracking related stuff. MI5 knew where and when the bomb was. Common knowledge that

  • @padraic2001eire What are you 12 lad? Read some history, this current level of resistance we are saying which is currently sparodic with about 1 or 2 attack's a month only upsurged from 2009, the Provisional's have went the route the stickies (Official IRA) an other's in the past did and they are now irrelevant, you must understand the IRA did/does not merely fight for equal right's under British rule but uphold's the proclamation which defend's anyone who take's up arm's against British rule

  • @padraic2001eire tis' not the individual british citizen the IRA fight, but it is the entire British sponser state, remeber the loyalist "bandstand" bombing not a few years ago?

the same state that occupies and harrases the population of Northern Ireland, the british have NO claim to ANY part of Ireland.

Here you are ready to condemn the only Regulator agency that was established for YOUR protection as a northern Irish citizen.

the people today mayb misguided but the goals are the same

  • @padraic2001eire yeah ignore the dozens of drug dealers executed by the IRA

  • @captainawesomo1 What a laughably feeble riposte.

  • @padraic2001eire just proves that your ignoring the facts, and given that NATO have killed hundreds of civlians in Libya so far dont see how the brits have any sort of moral high ground, omagh was an accident

  • Long Live The Provos..The Peoples Army

  • TIME TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND SHOW THE BASTARDS WHAT WE ARE MADE OFF INSTEAD OF TALKING ABOUT IT LETS PUT THE WORDS INTO ACTION. UP THE R.I.R.A

  • Up the Reals
