The x factor is no more than a glorified karaoke competition for a bunch of fame hungry losers. No one on the show is actually interested in music, only fame and money. The 'winner' is famous for about 5 minutes and by the next time the show is on they are forgotten about. The only true winner is Simon Cowells bank account, as that is the only true function that the programme serves, to make Cowell even richer.

The song makes a very good point, but i do agree with Brexen111 in some respects - yes if you want it you have to work for it, but in some ways Xfaxtor is not the best place to make yourself. the chances of getting through are minimal, and the chances of staying famous if you do make it are even smaller. there are other ways to make yourself.
