@dt76028 actually considering he did that exercise half-way through his workout, tired as he would be by then, and doing a good 2 reps without a hex bar, yes it would be a struggle even for him. he may be overall the world's strongest man, but his 3 core maxes (bench, squat, deadlift) are nothing compared to 300lb powerlifters. when it comes to the core lifts, mariusz isnt nearly as strong as some are. anyway i am straying from my point...yes they are 100lb. plates

he must have been half asleep or something then. He deadlifts over 800lbs, and I find it had to believe 500 would be THAT hard for him no matter what. I lift a little over 600lbs, and I've done full leg workouts, and can still pull 500lbs 5-6 times afterwards.
