i dont get why people muake such a fuss of kid drummers though, he is 12, he might of started playing when he was 5, that makes him a very experianced drummer, plus the fact small kids have a much greater capacity to learn.
Not necessarily. i can tell you know NOTHING about drums. he is playing complexed patterns im positive you cant duplicate. not only that the ghost notes he was keepin with his left hand is VERY physically challenging even for 2 measure and he kept it pretty much through the whole video. he had good timing which is rare for a child to maintain all aspects on the drums at once. i have friends who have been playing since they were five and not even as good as this kid. you're a malnurtured reject.
keef your right, its very rare, i had a student named tommy lopez i taught from the time he was 6 to 10, and within that time he was playing grooves like this with absolute ease. Just like this kid here, they're truly gifted.
