that problem happens very often but most time it is an other problem. the game brawl is ona double layer disc and even the lightest dirt on the wii lense can make it impossible to play brawl. there are two ways of solving the problem:

1. you buy a special wii cleaning disc or

2. you open your wii and clean it on your own.(i did this but the wii has a lot of bolts and very weird either. the wii possibly won´t look perfect after opening either but at least you can play it again^^)or send it
