Try and do your move set on mania challenge 2, you wouldn't last long. The running forearm is useless and 3 turnbuckle drops 1 after another don't work either, its hell of alot harder.

I'm proud to say that I fought Blues Bloody many times in the arcade and never lost a single match against him. Undefeated. Coco Savege usually was the one who beat me with his cheap moves eventually. This was a great wrestling game for its time. I always liked to finish matches with a big splash.

Man this takes me back in 1986 I remember playing this game non stop by our local theathre in Queens. Hell I remember I played this game so much I missed the previews and most of the beginning of a movie I was to go see. But dude you ought to let the computer show most of their offense so that these younger ppl would see how cool this game really was they're gonna think it's too cheesy by the way you keep doing the same thing

Great use of the shoulder block, but that gets boring after a while. You only need to use that against Coco Savage, who's the only real threat in the game.

I loved this game. Iremember playing at the arcade in a mall when I was a kid and really sucked at it (couldn't even beat Insane Warrior) then played in a 7/11 while on vacacation and was able to beat the champ everytime! Then came home expecting that I had mastered the game only to discover that I still couldn't beat Insane Warrior! Must be a difficulty switch on the game.

I played Mat Mania for hours on end, one credit. A little-known cheat for this game is simply running into your opponent. Do this and afterward you can do moves like the piledriver and brainbuster over and over; lather, rinse and repeat and you can waste anyone. Although it doesn't compare with later titles like WrestleFest, Mat Mania is an all-time classic. Thanks for posting :)

I used to love this game! This brings back big time memories! I never beat the game though. It was pretty tough after Coco Savage.
