They need to lose the candles. The candles rob the air of oxegon. Every video performance of Jackie where candles have been set up all around her - I can see he struggle to get air into her tiny lungs. Lose the candles people! Jackie doesn't need them! She sings so beautifully - shw doesn't need the extra distractions to rob her of much needed oxegon!

Jackie did not like her performance on this show.Something in the room was making it hard for her to catch her breath you could see it in her face and actions Jackie gives a what the heck is going on here look.

This may be Jackie's best performance of Nessun Dorma. She is in a class all by herself for sure. Beautiful. She will have a concert in Sun Valley Idaho Today. Wish oi could be there.

It's a very manufactured production to make her sound older than she is. I'm curious what your reference is regarding opera? Have you been to a live opera? Do you sing? Do you have a favorite singer?

I'm not trying to be an ass.. I'm truly curious. I just got my masters degree in opera performance so I feel like I know a bit when it comes to the subject.

@saladler LOL!! Don't feed the trolls. Actually, Jackie did get sort of a lukewarm review in the NY Times but she was not being judged as an 11 year old. She was judged by the standards of seasoned, adult opera stars, who probably do have better control than she has. But that will change, perhaps within the next couple of years. And by the time she is 20, we may be listening to the greatest soprano of all time.

I am astonished about her singing technique. Her breathing looks so normal although she wrote at twitter that the smog machines made it hard to breath for her. It does not look like this and she sounded very very good that morning.

Her singing is amazing though she puts so much effort and doesn't look very natural, she looks even as a chihuahua puppy when hits the high notes, though she is beautiful as an angel.
