Top of the shoulders need to be at least under the top of the rings in order for credit. Also, don't try a backuprise cross. You can't even do that correctly. So just backuprise, support, lower into a cross. You'll still get your B strength requirement.

Get off the rings and train bench press instead, also use dumb bells. It works the same muscles and more efficiently. In a cross you're there or you aren't. Here you're 40% into it. The weights allow you to train up from where you're at. Power lifters can't necessarily do it because they also squat, that adds weight to the legs. Weighted dips are also useful remember range of movement must be complete or you're fooling yourself as to your strength. No rubber innertube---weights.
