Bro, this is one of the different 'quraaat' of the quran; there are ten accepted ones and many others. Sheik Omar has studied the Quran in many Islamic institutions and I'm sure he knows how to recite the Quran correctly.

salaam bro i meant it might be warsh and qaloon together not seperate, my qari used to read warsh annaafi and it sounds quite similar. its definatly not qaloon on its own and most likely a type of warsh as most moroccons read warsh riwayat, allah knows best!
John the "Quran" is always in Arabic...The translation isn't defined as "Quran". As Muslims we all strive to learn the Quran in Arabic, because we believe it is important to learn the language of the Book of God. We believe that the Bible (Gospel) and the the Torah lost aspects of their meaning when they were translated & thus we only recognize them in their original language.
But the Qu'ran is supposed to be an extention of these books. Why would God screw up the first two and then get it right with the Qu'ran? Christ was the last in the message before end times. His message was totally sufficient. I don't see anything in Islam that added anything to Gods message. Why was Mohamed needed as a messanger of God?
Because christainas had changed the Bible and God sent Mohamed his prophet for all humanity, i think you can read the traduction of Quran in english but it's just traduction of meanings but to feel the beauty of quran understanding arabic is important.

This is certainly not Warsh-3an-nafi3.. It is Ibn Zakwan 3an abn 3amir, one of the ten or so qiraaat.
