The best thing about Peters music (besides how good it sounds!) - he writes/sings meaningful things or delivers a message - or an idea, adds a perfect melody - and he makes it all oooze with coolness.... It can be played loud and wild to fired up crowds, or it can be played with nothing but an acoustic and his voice - and have the crowd just as into it. Pure natural talent.

No, he's in a field, he was supposed to be playing for MTV, and instead he got drunk and went for a walk in the countryside. MTV were not impressed when he turned up an hour or so late.

It was amusing, though. It was on a documentary that MTV did of him, I believe it was called something like 24 hours with Pete Doherty? Correct me if I'm wrong, People.

I saw him in Edinburgh, among the best nights of my life. He was going by the name of pete doherty there. His most recent stuff is arguably the best stuff that he has recorded. In any case he's best with the things he wrote with Carl Barat. Be good to see them come back together, if not libertines then at least as a song writing duo. 1939 Returning is my favourite but Arcady was a good first song to that album
