TO MAKE AN OUTDOOR BOOMERANG: RUBBER BAND TWO PAINT STICKS TOGETHER EACH AT A 90 DEGREE ANGLE, THEN THROW UP WITH A WRIST FLICKING MOTION. enjoy, I swear i had countless hours of fun doing it. it takes a little to get used to it but very fun. trust me. youtube or google it

The one he was using is made out of sponge, it is very light and soft. i got one from the toy shop in Harrods store in London. it is really cool.
the one he was using is for indoors, there is another one for outdoors as well that has a flight range up to 15-20 meters, but this one is made of hard plastic, so watch out ;)
