I'm thinking about getting a 09 or 10 Endeavor Colour series board and i'm just wondering since i've been told and i've read that it has a thicker base I don't have to wax as much. Is that true? Also on average how long does it take you to wax? I know it'll take a first timer longer but something to work towards. Great vids btw
Well done tutorial, just watched all 3 parts. Very thorough, only suggestion I would make is that if for some reason you do another, if there is a significant difference in the way the beginning and end looks a before and after pic. No actual complaints just a thought.
is there any reason to use a base-cleaner before you wax? Or can you just use a brush? I normally wouldn't clean the base everytime but I have warm weather wax from last year and need to get that crap off.
All that polishing stuff is cute by the way, but since I'm an east-coaster it's pretty much useless.
Does it make a huge difference if you use the brass, nylon and horsehair brush compared to just using the scotch brite pad? Just for all of us that don't want to drop $50 on brushes and don't really care if we go 1 more mph faster.
The scotch brite pad is just fine for most snow. The brushes and cork are to get the most out of the board in wet snow and pow. If the snow is spring corn or ice, you really do not even need to scotch brite it or scrape it all that well; just get the big chunks off. Your first run might be a little slow, but after that you`re good to go!
(ghettoh) We have to guess you're also using her iron and finishing up with her hairbrush(?). Candle wax is very different from ski wax - probably a lot harder/more brittle and none of the additives specific for skiing/boarding. I'm no expert, but I doubt it's damaging anything, but it isn't helping either - probably just a waste of effort
yay (I'm clapping). I didn't know it is that easy....I mean, yeah, it's looks like a little bit of a workout with all the scraping/buffing, but relatively easy. And you did better job than I got when I paid a pro (they left some unscraped spots and some whitish areas)
wooo hooo a new GOOD how to wax your snowboard video. This was the best video i have seen on here about waxing. It was great that you did it at home like 90% of us do too. thanks for doing this im sure its going to help a lot of people.... now we just need some snow

Do you need to take your bindings off before you wax or is okay to leave them on tight or loose for that manner?

think its best to take off your bindings befor so you dont cause air bubbles where the screw holes are... but still good vid
