I had to come back to this song as it is one of my favourite Billy songs. Love the lyrics!! Billy was certainly a talented song writer as well as a great performer. The video has some great pictures as well. Thanks for sharing this. Love Billy so much a great loss to the world, A sweet modest and shy man. Beautiful inside and out! RIP BILLY. This is perfect song for me just now only. I would have certain people telling me to JUMP not Don't Jump. Infact I think S would like to push me off the cliff himself, and I wouldn't blame him if he did.

The version I have is faster too. The female backing singer's voice is higher pitched too, but that might be the speed effecting it?

I got this on a record of British R&R. I always liked stories in music. This is not a tear jerker. The serious subject is positively ended. I'm very much interested in Billy, because I try to find out where the music of the Beatles originated. Billy is one of their roots. Thank you for posting QueenForTonight.
